Welcome to the ADSA Walk 2018! I am looking forward to sharing photos of our adventures on the road and also some of the stories behind the scenes. ADSA Walk Team contributors and myself will be posting regularly so you can follow our progress on the journey through the beautiful Wheatbelt Country and back to Perth.

I have included this photo in my first post as one of the men in this photo has been a guiding light in all my work on the previous ADSA Walks and although he has passed from mesothelioma his wisdom and dignity still guide me.

Only three months to go and I can’t wait to get underway!!

The ADSA Walk is an annual event run by the Asbestos Diseases Society of Australia Inc, ADSA, to raise lifesaving funds for medical research into a cure for mesothelioma an asbestos caused cancer and to raise asbestos awareness in the community.

The ADSA is a caring charitable organisation that has for more than 35 years provided a unique service to asbestos diseases sufferers, their families, and the Australian community, assisting with the many issues arising out of exposure to asbestos and its devastating consequences. The epidemic of asbestos diseases in Australia is affecting members of the community from all walks of life in greater numbers as each year passes.

All donations to the ADSA Walk go to fund the ADSA PhD Scholarship in Mesothelioma.
